...they know how to make you feel like a total rockstar.
Today in class, I was distracting my students for a little bit while my co-teacher was looking for a key, so I asked them where they were going on their field trip tomorrow. I first asked them in English. Then, just to get a rise out of them, I asked them in Spanish:
¿¿A dónde vais??
The class erupted in cheers and clapping. Then they started chanting my name while clapping and practically bowing. I definitely was NOT expecting that kind of response. It was awesome and totally hilarious.
My kids are wicked awesome and know how to put a huge smile on my face.
I'm going to miss them so much!!
